Reimer posted a 29-save shutout in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Blackhawks.
This was Reimer's 25th career shutout and his first since the 2019-20 campaign. He bounced back well from arguably his worst start of the season versus the Maple Leafs on Friday to put in one of his best efforts Sunday. Reimer improved to 7-4-1 with a 2.12 GAA and a .933 save percentage. The fact that he started Sunday indicates he's earned the trust of head coach Bob Boughner, and he should be considered the Sharks' No. 1 goalie going forward. Next up is a road game versus the Devils on Tuesday.
