Chrona was summoned from AHL San Jose on Wednesday.
Chrona has a 3.51 GAA and an .892 save percentage in 24 AHL contests as well as a 9.50 GAA and a .724 save percentage in two outings with the Sharks this season. He's with the big club because Mackenzie Blackwood (undisclosed) was hurt Tuesday and put on injured reserve Wednesday.
