Sharks' Tomas Hertl: Exits Tuesday's contest

Hertl (undisclosed) won't finish Tuesday's game versus the Avalanche.

Hertl was injured in the second period and made a couple of trips to the locker room before being ruled out during the intermission. The severity of the 29-year-old's injury is unknown, but it could end his season early even if it's just a short-term issue at this stage of the schedule.
