Hertl was removed from COVID-19 protocols and is expected to play Tuesday against Arizona.
Hertl was placed on the COVID-19 list prior to the league's holiday break but it appears that he won't miss any game action as a result. The 28-year-old forward is currently riding a six-game point streak and is up to 22 points through 30 games this season. Hertl should be in his usual top-six role Tuesday.
