Dowling has no points, six shots on goal and five hits in six appearances this year.
The 29-year-old forward hasn't found his way onto a scoresheet yet and found himself as a healthy scratch for Saturday's game against the Capitals. Dowling entered the year with only three assists in 20 NHL contests over parts of two seasons. He remains a fantasy non-factor given the lack of offense.
