Blumel was recalled from AHL Texas on Saturday.

Blumel could play in Saturday's game versus Edmonton due to injuries to Tyler Seguin (lower body) and Sam Steel (undisclosed). The 24-year-old Blumel has one goal in two AHL outings this season.
