Heiskanen has not joined the team at training camp due to concussion symptoms, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Heiskanen was absent from the Stars' prospect tournament after requiring stitches following an elbow to the mouth during a Champions Hockey League game. Now it appears the blueliner is suffering from a concussion as well, which has kept him in Finland. Coach Ken Hitchcock said Dallas plans to wait a couple days and then decide whether he'll come to camp; otherwise, he'll stay in Finland to continue playing for HIFK Helsinki.
