Hintz (upper body) remains in Dallas and is not available for Wednesday's game versus the Sharks, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Hintz was believed to be close to a return prior to the Stars' road trip, but the fact that he hasn't joined the team yet doesn't bode well for his availability Thursday. Fredrik Olofsson will stay in the lineup while Hintz is out.
