Suter inked a four-year, $14.6 million contract with Dallas on Wednesday.
Suter will be playing for his third NHL franchise after having spent seven years with Nashville followed by nine seasons in Minnesota. Over that time, the veteran blueliner has logged 1,198 games in which he registered 93 goals, 514 assists and 2051 shots while averaging 25:02 of ice time. With Dallas, the Madison, Wisconsin native could see some power-play opportunities, though he shouldn't expect to replace Miro Heiskanen with the No. 1 unit.
