Stars' Valeri Nichushkin: Fresh drought drags on

Nichushkin yet again failed to register a point Tuesday even though the Stars managed to score six goals in a win over Chicago.

After starting to score with a little more consistency for a period there, Nichushkin has failed to score in eight games, posting just one assist over that time. He's getting out on the ice with some very good teammates, but has failed to take much of a step forward season. It's tough to trust him, knowing that a drought could be just around the corner at any given moment.
