Gaunce was put on waivers Monday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.
Gaunce produced 19 goals and 39 points across 46 regular-season contests with AHL Cleveland in 2023-24. He added two goals and two assists in 24 regular-season outings at the NHL level with Columbus. Gaunce could be a call-up option for Minnesota in 2024-25 if he doesn't get claimed by another club.
