Talbot -- who gave up four goals on 36 shots against the Panthers on Saturday -- will be back between the pipes on the road versus New Jersey on Wednesday, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
After a strong start to the season, Talbot has been inconsistent at best, as he is 2-3-0 with a 3.13 GAA in his last five outings. The veteran netminder did get the night off Sunday, as Kaapo Kahkonen took the second game of a back-to-back, so Talbot should be well-rested heading into Wednesday's matchup.
