Cole was removed from the NHL's COVID-19 protocols list Monday, Jessi Pierce of The Athletic reports.
Although Cole was removed from the league's protocols list Monday, he isn't expected to play Tuesday against the Kings. He is, however, on track to return to action Thursday against Anaheim. He's picked up one assist through 10 games this campaign.
