Wild's Ryan Suter: Wild's top blueliner

Suter racked up 48 points in 69 games before play was suspended in mid-March.

Now in his 15th NHL campaign, the 35-year-old blueliner just keeps getting it done. Suter ranks in the top 10 in both league ice time and points among defensemen. He appeared poised to take a run at double-digit goals (eight) for the first time in his career, as well as the triple-digit blocked-shot plateau (93) for the seventh consecutive campaign. Two things that really jump out for the Wisconsin native are the fact he's produced one more point than last year despite playing in 13 less games, and -- perhaps even more impressively -- that he's done that while averaging over two minutes less of ice time (24:38 compared to 26:42 in 2018-19). Suter is as durable as they come, and if he can keep producing at an elite rate despite receiving less ice time, owners need not look elsewhere.
