  • Blues' Jordan Nolan: Subjected to waivers
    By RotoWire Staff

Nolan was waived by the Blues on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. Nolan posted exactly four goals and four assists in each of the past two seasons -- first with the Kings and then the Sabres. That's not going to move the needle in any fantasy format.

  • Blues' Jordan Nolan: Lands two-year deal
    By RotoWire Staff

Nolan inked a two-year, two-way contract with St. Louis on Thursday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. Nolan hasn't played in the AHL since 2012-13; however, that is certainly a possibility after the 29-year-old agreed to a two-way deal. Last season with Buffalo, the center tallied eight points in 69 outings while averaging a paltry 9:48 of ice time. How much (or if) the Ontario native spends time in the minors will likely be determined during training camp.

  • Nolan laced up the skates for 69 games in 2017-18, scoring four goals and four assists while logging 123 hits. Although Nolan's never been much of a point scorer -- his career high is just 10 from 2013-14 -- his points-per-game went down in his first season in Buffalo, as he scored eight points as well last year in 23 less games with Los Angeles. The 28-year-old was still able to highlight a physical aspect of his game, as he had the second most hits of any forward on the team, and although a minus-13 rating isn't necessarily good, it was still fourth best out of players with 50 or more games on a poor Buffalo team. Nolan is set to be an unrestricted free agent, and he could very well find a new home for 2018-19.

  • Nolan collected an assist in a 4-3 win over the Devils on Friday. The assist was Nolan's first appearance on the scoresheet since a Nov. 24 helper against Edmonton. With contributions this infrequent and no track record of producing points, the son of former Sabres coach Ted Nolan offers no real fantasy value in any format.

  • Sabres' Jordan Nolan: Tallies two goals
    By RotoWire Staff

Nolan scored his first two goals of the season in a 5-4 loss to the Wild on Wednesday. Nolan is one of the more surprising guys to notch a multi-goal game this year. He only has three points in 20 games, and he's put a mere 11 shots on net.
