  • Leddy scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 8-2 loss to the Lightning in Game 1. Leddy's tally in the third period cut the deficit to four goals, but Ondrej Palat answered just 45 seconds later to nullify any potential momentum for the Islanders. Through 17 contests, Leddy has three goals, two helpers, 33 blocked shots, 20 shots on net and a plus-8 rating.

  • Leddy scored an empty-net goal on his only shot and added two blocks in a 4-0 win over Washington on Thursday in Game 5. Leddy found the empty net from long range to give the Islanders a 3-0 lead with 2:13 remaining. The veteran defenseman also logged a positive plus/minus rating (plus-1) for the sixth straight game and now shares the team postseason lead in that category at plus-9.

  • Leddy scored a power-play goal and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Capitals in Game 2. Leddy got the Islanders on the board at 2:56 of the second period. His tally snapped a 39-game goal drought -- Leddy's last lamp-lighter was Dec. 21 in a loss to the Ducks. The goal was also the blueliner's first point in six playoff outings. He's added nine hits, eight shots on net, 10 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating.

  • Leddy (undisclosed) took the ice for Wednesday's practice session. Leddy joined his teammates at practice for the first time since training camps kicked off. The Minnesota native will no doubt be eager to break out of his 34-game goal drought. It's that lack of production that should cause fantasy players to hesitate in selecting the blueliner in their fantasy pools.

  • Leddy (undisclosed) was absent from practice for a second straight day Tuesday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports. Due to the NHL's new policy on injury updates, the Islanders are unable to shed any light on why Leddy has yet to practice, but at this point there's no reason to believe he won't be available for the team's qualifying round matchup with the Panthers, which is still over two weeks away. The 29-year-old blueliner notched three goals and 21 points in 60 games during the regular season.
