  • Palat (undisclosed) was a full participant during Sunday's practice, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports. Palat had yet to skate with the main group at practice until Sunday, evidencing his full return to the team. The 29-year-old should be considered ready to play when the Lightning open up the postseason on Aug. 3 in the round robin portion of the playoffs.

  • Palat (undisclosed) skated as part of the first group but was held out for the fully team practice Thursday, Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com reports. The fact that Palat was still skating likely means whatever is hampering him is minor, though the team won't be able to provide any specifics. Still, it will be something for fantasy players to monitor heading into the club's matchup with Washington on Aug. 3.

  • Palat posted an assist and four hits in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Golden Knights. The Czech winger is up to 38 points, 112 shots and 124 hits through 60 games this season. Palat could challenge for the 50-point mark by the end of the campaign -- if he gets there, it would be for the fourth time in his eight-year career.

  • Palat recorded an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche. The helper snapped a five-game point drought for the winger. Palat is up to 37 points, 111 shots, 120 hits and a plus-26 rating in 59 games. He'll likely continue to operate in a middle-six role.

  • Palat picked up two assists and was plus-2 with one shot on goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Vegas. Palat assisted on Tyler Johnson's go-ahead goal late in the first period and set up Alex Killorn's empty-netter in the final minute of regulation. Palat is now riding a four-game point streak and has nine points (two goals, seven assists) in his last seven games. With 14 goals and 21 assists on the season, he has already surpassed the 34 points he put up in 2018-19. Palat is one of several Tampa Bay forwards riding a heater and fantasy owners should be trying to get in on the action wherever they can.
