  • Dumba potted his first goal of the season and added an assist in Thursday's win over the Predators. After notching 11 goals last season, it took Dumba 18 contests to get on the board this time around. The 23-year-old logs steady minutes for the Wild and has put up a respectable nine points through 18 contests. Dumba is sporting a tidy plus-7 rating and manning the point on the second power-play unit, making him a quality fantasy rearguard. Look for the goal Thursday to open the floodgates, as Dumba has solid offensive skills and should be finding the back of the net at a more steady rate.

  • Wild's Mathew Dumba: Nabs two assists in victory

Dumba dished out a pair of helpers in Thursday's win over the Canadiens. Dumba logged 25:58 of ice time Thursday and now has five assists through 11 contests. He's yet to find the back of the net thus far after potting 11 goals in 2016-17 and has had a rough start to the season. His recent defensive play is more of a concern to the team than it is to his fantasy owners, but look for the points to continue to come given his offensive capabilities and role on the power play.

  • Wild's Mathew Dumba: Chided for defensive lapses
    By RotoWire Staff

Dumba made a critical turnover that led to the game-winning goal in Monday's 2-1 loss at Winnipeg. "You know, he just hasn't been playing that well,'" head coach Bruce Boudreau told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Dumba made a careless pass that went to where no Wild player was present that resulted in a turnover and a goal. Dumba has regressed on defense and hasn't been contributing on offense with no goals and three assists in 10 games. It's possible he could lose ice time in the short term while in the doghouse for his lapses on defense.

  • Wild's Mathew Dumba: Posts assist in Saturday's loss
    By RotoWire Staff

Dumba had an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jackets. Dumba is off to a slow start shooting the puck with just five shots on goal in four games. He is plus-3 on the defensive end despite Minnesota's slow start.

  • Wild's Mathew Dumba: Looks ready to go
    By RotoWire Staff

Dumba (ankle) is projected to play Saturday evening against the Stars for the preseason finale, according to the Wild's official site. Dumba took part in the a.m. skate Saturday, and now he's expected to join Ryan Suter -- who's appearing in just his second preseason contest ahead of the new season -- on the top pair. The ever-improving Dumba is a nice back-end selection in fantasy drafts after he put up 11 goals, 23 helpers and a plus-15 rating over 76 contests last season.
