  • Wilson produced an assist and a game-high 11 hits in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders. Wilson's helper came on a dump-in during the first period that caromed oddly off the boards and straight to Alex Ovechkin, who tallied just 56 seconds into the game. After a slow start to the postseason, Wilson is heating up. The 26-year-old has a goal and two helpers in his last three games. Overall, he's added 19 PIM, 27 hits and six shots on goal through five contests.

  • Wilson scored the game-winning goal during Sunday's 2-1 win over the Bruins. The Caps ended the round robin with a win thanks to Wilson, who beat the Boston defense to a loose puck and then flipped it top shelf over Tuukka Rask early in the third period. The goal was Wilson's first point of the postseason, giving him some nice momentum heading into a clash with the Islanders in Round 1.

  • Wilson tallied an assist, a plus-2 rating and two hits during Monday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres. The helper gives Wilson a respectable eight goals and 17 points in his last 28 games since the start of 2020 -- along with a paltry minus-10 rating. The burly winger is doing a better job of staying out of the penalty box in 2019-20 and is having a career-year offensively (44 points) to show for it, giving him a more well-rounded fantasy appeal than he has historically provided.

  • Wilson scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Wild. Wilson converted on a feed from Alex Ovechkin just 40 seconds into the third period. That goal would stand as the game-winner. Wilson's 21 tallies this year put him one shy of matching his career-high count from last season. The 25-year-old winger has a career-best 42 points to go with 238 hits, 148 shots and 79 PIM through 64 appearances.
