  • Jaskin contributed a pair of assists and fired three shots on goal in Saturday's win over the Blue Jackets. The fourth-liner scored against Carolina on Friday and is now up to four points in nine games. The 24-year-old isn't known for his offense and has never surpassed 20 points in his career, so exhibit caution. With strong hit totals and scoring ability, Jaskin can be valuable if he can stick in the lineup and obtain quality ice time, but his current situation makes him pretty unappealing in most fantasy leagues.

  • Blues' Dmitrij Jaskin: Scratched from lineup Tuesday
    By RotoWire Staff

Jaskin (coach's decision) won't be in the lineup for St. Louis' game against the Rangers after missing a team meeting Tuesday, Jeff Gordon of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Jaskin has been skating on the Blues' second line and second power-play unit thus far this season, but it's unclear if he'll have such a prominent role waiting for him after Tuesday's misstep. Ivan Barbashev will slot into Jaskin's spot in the top six against New York.

  • Blues' Dmitrij Jaskin: Makes huge impact in Game 5
    By RotoWire Staff

Jaskin scored a goal and registered eight shots on net over 15:46 of ice time during Friday's Game 5 win over Nashville. After watching the first nine games of the playoffs from the press box, Jaskin was an offensive spark plug in Game 5. His eight shots were twice as many as any other skater on either team, and his second-period tally provided a huge momentum shift on the Blues' home ice. Jaskin's 56.0 Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5 also bodes well for his chances of suiting up again for Game 6 -- especially if Alexander Steen (lower body) isn't ready to return.

  • Blues' Dmitrij Jaskin: Nearing return
    By RotoWire Staff

Jaskin (upper body) skated Friday and seems ready for a return, but it won't come Friday night against the Avalanche, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. With the Blues still in the running for a playoff spot, they'll be hoping they can get Jaskin back soon and it's entirely likely that it could happen Sunday against the Predators. Jaskin hasn't recorded a point since the middle of January, but he does provide valuable fourth-line depth for St. Louis.

  • Blues' Dmitrij Jaskin: Won't play Wednesday
    By RotoWire Staff

Jaskin (upper body) didn't take part in line rushes during pregame warmups, indicating he won't be in the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Coyotes, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Jaskin is reportedly getting "close" to returning to the Blues' lineup, but he'll have to wait until Friday against Colorado for his next chance to do so. The 24-year-old's impending return to action will bolster the team's depth up front, but it won't mean much to fantasy owners, as his limited offensive production -- 13 points in 65 games this season -- keeps Jaskin from being a desirable option in most formats.
