  • Dansk signed a one-year, $700,000 contract extension with the Golden Knights on Thursday. Dansk has only appeared in one game with the big club this campaign, and it was a disaster with him surrendering six goals on 37 shots en route to a blowout loss to the Flyers on Oct. 21. The 2012 second-round pick has, however, been decent in the minors, compiling an 18-12-4 record while posting a 2.57 GAA and .908 save percentage in 35 appearances with AHL Chicago. The 26-year-old Swede will likely once again spend most, if not all, of the 2020-21 campaign in the minors.

  • Dansk was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Friday. Dansk served a backup role behind Malcolm Subban for Friday's game against the Hurricanes. Marc-Andre Fleury's one-game suspension for skipping the All-Star Game is complete, so Dansk will return to his role as AHL Chicago's starter.

  • The Golden Knights recalled Dansk from AHL Chicago on Thursday. Marc-Andre Fleury will serve a one-game suspension Friday for skipping the All-Star Game, so Dansk will be on hand to serve as Vegas' second netminder against the Hurricanes. The 25-year-old backstop will almost certainly be sent back to the bus league ahead of Saturday's matchup with Nashville.

  • The Golden Knights assigned Dansk to AHL Chicago on Wednesday. The Golden Knights were playing back-to-back games so they cast Dansk to start Monday against the Flyers. Dansk had a tough outing, though, allowing six goals on 37 shots en route to the team's fourth loss of the year. The 25-year-old will return to the minors to continue his development, and Garret Sparks, who played 20 games with the Maple Leafs last year, will serve as Marc-Andre Fleury's backup for as long Malcolm Subban (lower body) is sidelined.

  • Dansk allowed six goals on 37 shots in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Flyers. It was a night to forget for every player on the Golden Knights roster, especially Dansk. Making his season debut, the 25-year-old was beaten half a dozen times in this game, as Dansk was in goal to give Marc-Andre Fleury a night off. While not entirely his fault, Dansk certainly didn't do himself any favors with his performance, and it could be a while before we see him between the pipes again.
