  • Golden Knights' Oscar Dansk: Called up from minors
    By RotoWire Staff

Dansk was promoted from AHL Chicago on Thursday. The fact that Dansk will sit on the roster during the All-Star break instead of Max Lagace -- who will play for the Wolves in the minors -- is a good indication of how the organization ranks the two netminders. Even if Malcolm Subban (illness) remains unavailable versus Carolina on Feb. 1, look for Dansk to be shipped down to the minors prior to that clash, rather than serving as the backup.

  • Golden Knights' Oscar Dansk: Exposed to waivers
    By RotoWire Staff

Dansk was placed on waivers by Vegas on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports. Dansk was terrific for the Golden Knights in their inaugural campaign, as he went 3-0-0 with a 1.78 GAA and .946 save percentage over four games. It had taken a litany of injuries to the Golden Knights netminders -- including Marc-Andre Fleury -- for the Swede to see action at hockey's highest level in the first place. Still, if Dansk clears waivers, he'll likely report to AHL Chicago, which is the top development affiliate for Vegas.

  • Golden Knights' Oscar Dansk: Concedes twice in win
    By RotoWire Staff

Dansk stopped 17 of 19 shots Thursday, earning the win in a 7-2 rout of the Kings. Dansk was serviceable but not outstanding in this one; however, it's also easy to lose focus when you're on the positive end of a 7-2 blowout. But this perhaps wasn't the kind of night he was hoping for in his efforts to start the year as Marc-Andre Fleury's backup.

  • Golden Knights' Oscar Dansk: Heads back to minors
    By RotoWire Staff

Dansk was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Friday, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports. Dansk was only with the big club for one game, when he backed up Malcolm Subban against San Jose on Thursday. His demotion likely means that starter Marc-Andre Fleury (undisclosed) is nearing a return after reports indicated Flower will join the team Saturday against the Avalanche.

  • Golden Knights' Oscar Dansk: Sent down to minors
    By RotoWire Staff

Dansk was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Wednesday, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Dansk's demotion was expected after he was taken off injured reserve, considering he is firmly cemented behind Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban on the organization's depth chart. Barring an injury, the youngster Dansk should remain with the Wolves for the rest of the 2017-18 campaign.
