  • Langhamer was loaned to Kometa Brno of the Czech Extraliga on Saturday. This will be a homecoming of sorts for Langhamer -- who made a relief appearance against the Golden Knights on Nov. 25, but is not needed with No. 1 goalie Antti Raanta (upper body) activated for a road start against the Blue Jackets. However, given how much trouble Raanta's had trying to fend off the injury bug this season, this may not be the last we hear about Langhamer in 2017-18.

  • Langhamer stopped all 10 shots in relief of Scott Wedgewood in Saturday's loss to the Golden Knights. It was the first appearance of the season for Langhamer, who has moved into the backup position with Antti Raanta (upper body) sidelined. With the injury not believed to be serious, Langhamer likely wont see much more action before he's sent back down to AHL Tuscon. Langhamer posted a .902 save percentage with the Roadrunners last season and doesn't hold much fantasy value right now. Even if he does see more crease time during this emergency recall, we haven't seen enough from the youngster to even recommend him as a spot start.

  • Coyotes' Marek Langhamer: Recalled from AHL
    By RotoWire Staff

Langhamer was recalled from the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners on Thursday. Langhamer being brought back up to the NHL is being described as an emergency recall, as it appears as though the upper body injury to starting goalie Antti Raanta could be one that causes him to miss some time. Should Raanta be unable to play in Friday's game against the Kings, Langhamer would be in line to serve as the backup behind Scott Wedgewood.

  • Coyotes' Marek Langhamer: Demoted to AHL
    By RotoWire Staff

Langhamer was sent down to AHL Tucson on Sunday. After being recalled to back up Louis Domingue in the wake of Antti Raanta's lower-body injury, Langhamer will return to the minors. The 23-year-old posted a .902 save percentage in the AHL last season, and if goaltending injuries arise again in the desert, don't be surprised if Langhamer gets another call.

  • Coyotes' Marek Langhamer: Promoted to big club
    By RotoWire Staff

The Coyotes recalled Langhamer from AHL Tucson on Friday. Starter Antti Raanta suffered a lower-body injury in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings, so Langhamer will presumably slot in as Louis Domingue's backup for Saturday's game against the Bruins. The 2012 seventh-round pick was shaky in the minors last season, compiling an 8-11-0 record while registering a 3.36 GAA and .902 save percentage over 25 appearances.
