Coach Rod Brind'Amour is hopeful McGinn (upper body) will be able to return sometime in April, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports. McGinn's return obviously isn't imminent, but it sounds like he should at least be able to get a few games in before postseason play gets underway. Either way, the 27-year-old winger has only picked up eight goals and 13 points in 37 games this season, so most fantasy managers won't need to keep tabs on his availability.

McGinn (upper body) is expected to miss Carolina's next four games at a minimum, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports. McGinn's absence will test the Hurricanes' depth up front, but it won't impact many fantasy lineups, as he's only picked up 13 points through 37 games this campaign.

McGinn (upper body) won't return to the lineup for Thursday's game versus Florida, Michael Smith of the Hurricanes' official site reports. Once cleared to play, McGinn will return to a bottom-six role as well as a spot on Carolina's penalty-killing unit Thursday. He's picked up eight goals and 13 points through 37 games this campaign. Until then, Morgan Geekie figures to remain in the lineup.

McGinn (upper body) won't play Tuesday versus the Panthers, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports. The Hurricanes have yet to release a timetable for McGinn's return, but he'll miss at least one contest with the upper-body injury he suffered during Sunday's game versus the Stars. The 27-year-old winger has notched eight goals and 13 points in 37 games this season.

McGinn has been ruled out of the remainder of Sunday's game versus the Stars with an upper-body injury. The severity of McGinn's upper-body issue has yet to be revealed, but more information regarding his status should surface prior to Tuesday's rematch with Dallas. The 27-year-old winger has picked up eight goals and 13 points in 36 games this season.
