  • Rangers' Cole Schneider: Heads to Big Apple
    By RotoWire Staff

Schneider, whom the Rangers signed to a two-year, two-way, $1.3 million deal July 1, notched 24 goals and 39 assists with the AHL Roster in the Sabres' organization last season. The undrafted winger should be excited for a clean slate, as the Sabres granted him only six NHL appearances in the past two years. Still, the two-way aspect of his new deal means that he's likely to continue shuffling between the AHL and NHL.

  • Sabres' Cole Schneider: Reassigned to AHL
    By RotoWire Staff

Schneider was sent down to AHL Rochester on Saturday. Schneider had played sparingly with the parent club, despite three forwards -- Nicolas Deslauriers (knee), Jack Eichel (ankle) and Tyler Ennis (groin) -- simultaneously injured. Over Schneider's four games with the Sabres, he was able to notch an assist with a plus-2 rating, proving capable of at least being a fill-in option when needed.

  • Schneider was called up to Buffalo on Saturday. It's tough to say how long Schneider's stint with the big club will last as he was granted only two games before being reassigned to AHL Rochester on Nov. 13. In those two games though, he managed an assist and four shots on goal while averaging just 7:49 of ice time, so maybe he will be able to cut out a role for himself on a struggling Buffalo squad this time around.

  • Sabres' Cole Schneider: Sent down Sunday
    By RotoWire Staff

Schneider was sent to AHL Rochester on Sunday. The 26-year-old was hot in the AHL before getting called up, and scored one goal in two limited appearances in the NHL, but he'll head back to the minors for the time being. If the Sabres are looking for a scoring boost, it could be Schneider who gets called up to give the team a shot.

  • Schneider was recalled from AHL Rochester on Wednesday. Schneider began the 2016-17 season with the Sabres' minor league affiliate but after tallying 15 points in his first 10 games, the 26-year-old was rewarded with a call up to the big club. The playmaking left winger will look to bolster the Sabres' offense as the team currently ranks second to last in goals scored (25) this season.
