Goodrow scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-4 victory over Columbus on Thursday. That was a big monkey off Goodrow's back -- he had just three points in his previous 21 games before Thursday's outburst. He remains a hard-working bottom-six forward that's simply more valuable on the ice than in the fantasy arena. Goodrow has 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 40 games this season.
Goodrow picked up an assist in Sunday's 5-3 win over Florida. It was just his second assist in his last 13 games, but at least he delivered 10 PIM in his last three. Goodrow has just five goals and six assists in 31 games.
Goodrow deposited an empty-net goal in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Hurricanes. Goodrow is performing admirably on the third line, as he's generated four goals on a career-best shooting percentage (17.4). Additionally, he's tacked on four helpers to complement a plus-8 rating through 17 contests. Goodrow does not receive power-play minutes, but he's still a decent option if you need to save virtual dollars for other players in DFS contests.
Goodrow scored twice on three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 3-1 win over the Red Wings. Goodrow gave the Lightning a lead at 17:29 of the second period, then doubled up with his empty-netter in the third. The 27-year-old has performed decently in a third-line role this year, notching six points, 12 shots on goal, 11 hits and a plus-6 rating through nine appearances.
Goodrow had two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks. Goodrow set up both of his linemates in the contest, feeding Blake Coleman for the third goal in the second period as well as Yanni Gourde for an insurance tally in the third. While they won't always get on the scoresheet, Goodrow and the Lightning's third line are all solid depth scorers in their own right. In 70 games split between the Lightning and the Sharks last year, Goodrow had 26 points, 162 hits and 97 PIM.
