  • Perlini scored a goal and added two assists in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs. That's back-to-back three-point performances for Perlini, who potted a hat trick against the Coyotes on Monday. The third-year winger only has 12 goals and 19 points on the season, but half that production (seven goals and two assists) has come in the last six games. It's taken a while, but the 12th overall pick in the 2014 draft could finally be putting things together in the NHL.

  • Perlini scored in all three periods Monday, helping his team to a 7-1 rout of Arizona. Where did this come from? Perlini had all of three goals for the season at the start of the month and now has six goals in March alone. At this point, there's little to lose in playing him in daily leagues to see if he can keep catching lightning in a bottle.

  • Perlini scored two goals in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Kings. With Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews having a rare off night, Perlini stepped up with some rare offense after spending the prior four games in the press box. The third-year winger only has seven goals and 12 points through 52 games, however, and hadn't lit the lamp since Jan. 1, so don't expect a repeat any time soon.

  • Perlini will be a healthy scratch for Wednesday's road contest against the Ducks, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports. Perlini was originally thought to have an undisclosed injury, but that might have been covering up the fact that he was scratched. The 22-year-old hasn't produced this season, only racking up 10 points in 51 games. The Blackhawks will stick with John Hayden as their fourth line right wing.

  • Perlini (undisclosed) will not suit up for Sunday's game against Dallas, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports. Perlini has missed the last three games and it's possible that he's just a healthy scratch at this point but it hasn't been confirmed. There hasn't been an update on his health since he skated with the team Friday.
