  • Wallmark, along with Erik Haula, Chase Priskie and Eetu Luostarinen, were traded to Florida from Carolina on Monday in exchange for Vincent Trocheck, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Wallmark scored in Saturday's clash with Toronto, which ended a 15-game goal drought during which he recorded just one helper. The 24-year-old needs just six more points to top the 28 he put up in his first full NHL season last year. With the Panthers, the Swede will almost assuredly take on a bottom-six role.

  • Wallmark skated a season-low 6:59 in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers. Wallmark has now failed to register a point in 10 straight contests -- that's a four-week stretch dating back to Jan. 16 against the Blue Jackets. Not even a recent one-game stint as a healthy scratch Feb. 4 seems to have lit a fire under him. Once Jordan Martinook returns from an upper-body injury, you could see Wallmark watching more games from the press box. He should not be in anyone's fantasy lineup right now.

  • Wallmark (undisclosed) will watch Tuesday's game against St. Louis from the press box as a healthy scratch. Wallmark exited Sunday's win over Vancouver in the third period after taking a big hit, but that evidently isn't the reason for his absence from the lineup Tuesday. It wouldn't be surprising to see him back in action against Arizona on Thursday.

  • Wallmark (undisclosed) had to go to the locker room after taking a big hit along the boards Sunday against the Canucks, Sara Civian of The Athletic reports. Wallmark was hit hard by Tyler Myers and spent some time down on the ice before heading off to the locker room. His return should be considered questionable, with the game tied 3-3 in the third period at the time of his exit.

  • Wallmark scored a goal on a team-high five shots in Friday's 3-0 win over the Coyotes. Wallmark got a piece of a shot from Dougie Hamilton, sending it past Antti Raanta in goal. After a brief two-game pointless run, Wallmark has goals in back to back games and five tallies in his last nine outings. The Swede is up to 21 points (10 scores, 11 helpers), 65 shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in 44 contests.
