  • Blues' Mackenzie MacEachern: Posts fifth point
    By RotoWire Staff

MacEachern dished out an assist in Thursday's win over the Kings. MacEachern has been in the Blues' system since they selected him in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He has been a fixture on the fourth line following his recall in January, and the winger now has five points in 24 games to show for it. MacEachern won't light up the scoresheet, but he holds his own and has a respectable 51.1 Corsi For percentage as well.

  • Blues' Mackenzie MacEachern: Rings up another goal
    By RotoWire Staff

MacEachern lit the lamp in Tuesday's win over the Devils. MacEachern hauled in a stretch pass form Pietrangelo and split defenders before beating Keith Kinkaid to give the Blues a four-goal lead. The rookie is quickly becoming a well-known skater in The Lou due to his catchy name, in-season contract extension and now three goals in 12 games. With David Perron (upper body) likely staying home for the Blues upcoming three-game trip, MacEachern should stay in the lineup for the time being.

  • MacEachern signed a one-year, one-way contract extension for $750,000 with the Blues on Saturday, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. MacEachern has had quite the day Saturday, first potting his second career NHL goal in a 3-2 win over Nashville and now earning some job security with an extension for the 2019-20 season. The 24-year-old winger hasn't eclipsed 10 minutes of ice time in any of his 10 appearances for St. Louis, so this new contract doesn't carry much significance in the fantasy realm.

    By RotoWire Staff

MacEachern was promoted from AHL San Antonio on Thursday. MacEachern will rejoin the club after spending the All-Star break playing in the minors. Prior to his demotion, the young winger racked up two points in his previous two outings, which could see him slot into a fourth-line role over Robby Fabbri.

  • Blues' Mackenzie MacEachern: Sent back to minors
    By RotoWire Staff

MacEachern was shipped back to AHL San Antonio on Thursday. MacEachern seems to be adjusting to the pace of the NHL game, as he has two points in his last two outings. The young winger will get the opportunity to play additional minutes while with the Rampage. Following the All-Star break, the Michigan native may still be brought back to St. Louis ahead of the team's Feb. 2 matchup with Columbus, though that may depend on the availability of Robert Thomas (upper body) and David Perron (upper body).
