  The Flames assigned Tuulola to AHL Stockton on Saturday. Tuulola will start the season in the minors. The 2016 sixth-round pick posted 23 points over 50 games with Stockton this season.

• Flames' Eetu Tuulola: Listed on training camp roster

  Tuulola is set to join the Flames at training camp, ending his loan with Vasterviks IK of the Swedish second-tier league. Tuulola is a long-shot to make the Opening Night roster, as he'll be competing with Buddy Robinson and Dominik Simon for playing time at right wing. A sixth-round pick from 2016, Tuulola may go out on loan or rejoin AHL Stockton at the end of training camp. The 22-year-old is still a few years away from a realistic chance at the big club's roster.

• Flames' Eetu Tuulola: Joins Swedish team

  Tuulola will be on loan with Swedish second-tier club Vasterviks IK for the start of the 2020-21 season. Tuulola saw action in 50 games with AHL Stockton last season, garnering 10 goals and 13 helpers. The 2016 sixth-round pick figures to rejoin Calgary ahead of the upcoming campaign but will likely miss out on a spot on the 23-man roster next year.

• Flames' Eetu Tuulola: Inks three-year deal

  Tuulola signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Calgary on Thursday. Tuulola -- who was selected by the Flames in the sixth round of the 2016 NHL Draft -- racked up 13 goals and 23 helpers in 60 outings for Finnish club HPK last season. The winger figures to spend another year overseas continuing to develop his game before making the jump to the AHL.
