  • Compher scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-3 OT loss to Vegas on Saturday. Compher came within a point of equaling his career mark (32 points) last season and he sure looked confident Saturday. He tied the game at 3-3 with just 1:02 left in the game when he jammed the puck home after Nazem Kadri hit the crossbar. Compher is one of the team's PK men, but also saw a bit of time on the power play Saturday.

  • Compher recorded 11 goals and 20 assists in 67 games prior to the league suspension in mid-March. The Illinois native's 31 points are just one shy of his career-high 32 set last season, so he'd likely reach a new best if play resumes. That said, Compher actually scored five more goals (16) in one less game (66) in 2018-19, so he doesn't appear to have taken any major steps forward in his age-24 season.

  • Compher scored the game-winning goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers. Compher got a piece of Cale Makar's shot in overtime, beating Rangers goalie Alexandar Georgiev for the decisive tally. During Wednesday's game, Compher skated a team-high 25:38 in a top-line role. He saw such significant usage because Nathan MacKinnon and Nazem Kadri are both out with lower-body injuries. Through 67 games this year, Compher has 11 goals, 31 points and 106 shots. He could be worth a look in DFS as long as he's needed in a big role.
