  • White has notched eight points over his last nine games, making an otherwise tough season look a lot better. Who is the real Colin White? Is it the player who's managed 15 points in 52 games, or the one who's scored eight in nine? The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle, and given how young he is, odds are that he's going to take a step forward in 2020-21. White's worth hanging onto in dynasty formats, even with the rough year.

  • White posted an assist, three shots on goal and a fighting major in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Kings. White's biggest contributions came in the first period. He had the secondary helper on Bobby Ryan's tally 29 seconds into the game. White also fought the Kings' Austin Wagner at 18:08 of the first. The 23-year-old center has 23 points and 83 shots in 61 games this season. He's not known to be particularly pugnacious -- White has only 39 PIM and 47 hits.

  • White recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks. White has had a solid start in March with a goal and four helpers in his last four outings. The 23-year-old center is up to 22 points, 80 shots and 34 PIM through 60 appearances this year -- that's well below the pace he established in his 41-point breakout last season.

  • White picked up two assists in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Penguins. The 23-year-old looked none the worse for wear after missing the prior three games with an upper body injury. White has a disappointing six goals and 19 points through 57 games this season, and it's not clear whether his regression is due primarily to the lack of talent around him in Ottawa, or his own failure to develop further.

  • White (upper body) will return to the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Penguins, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports. White missed Ottawa's last three contests with a lower-body injury, but he'll return to a bottom-six role Tuesday, skating on the Senators' third line against Pittsburgh. The 23-year-old American is, however, also expected to center Ottawa's top power-play unit, making him an interesting option in daily contests. He's notched six goals and 17 points in in 56 games this campaign.
