  • White (shoulder) won't return to action before the All-Star break, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports. Combined with the team's bye week, White's next chance to suit up won't be until Feb. 1 versus Pittsburgh. The center was stuck in a rut prior to getting hurt, as he recorded just one point in his previous six outings. Once cleared to play, the Boston native figures to return to a bottom-six role.

  • White (shoulder) was added to the injured reserve list Friday, according to the NHL's official media site. White took a big hit early in Thursday's game against the Kings and was not able to return. However, now he's gone from day-to-day to IR, and it comes at a bad time for the Senators. The 21-year-old has 26 points in 44 games, and Ottawa will be without him and Matt Duchene (personal) for Saturday's game against the Sharks.

  • Senators' Colin White: Won't return against LA
    By RotoWire Staff

White won't return to Thursday's game against the Kings due to a left-shoulder injury. White suffered his injury when he took a big hit from LA's Jake Muzzin in the first period of Thursday's contest. The fact that he's already been ruled out of the remainder of the match doesn't bode well for his chances of suiting up Saturday against San Jose, but more details on his condition should surface prior to that contest.

  • White scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 overtime victory over the Ducks on Wednesday. The goal was White's first point in the last five games. He received a little taste of the NHL last season, but in 2018-19, White is playing well with a full NHL opportunity. He has 11 goals, including two game-winners, 26 points and 82 shots on net in 43 games.

  • White tallied a goal, an assist and five shots during Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Capitals. White had been held off the scoresheet in each of his previous three outings, but he was clicking well on the second line with Mark Stone and Brady Tkachuk throughout Saturday's game. With 10 goals and 25 points in 38 games, the 19-year-old rookie is showing why he was a first-round selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and should be owned in deeper leagues and dynasty formats.
