The 26-year-old blueliner has posted three assists, 14 PIM, a plus-7 rating, 13 blocked shots and 13 hits through 12 contests. Expect the Alberta native to remain in a third-pairing role when the Wild's defense corps is at full health.

Soucy (not injury related) was activated from non-roster injured reserve ahead of Monday's game versus the Sharks, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Soucy is back in action after a three-game layoff, and he's expected to line up on the third pairing with Ian Cole. The 26-year-old blueliner has contributed two assists, 14 PIM and 13 hits over 11 games this year.

Soucy was activated off the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list Thursday, Greg Wyshynski of ESPN.com reports. Soucy was one of 10 players on the Wild placed on the list Feb. 8, and he was finally cleared Thursday. He has yet to be added back to the roster, so he'll need to be added before returning. The 26-year-old has tallied two assists in 11 games this season.

The NHL has already announced that the Wild's games will be postponed through the weekend, so the 26-year-old blueliner will be out until at least Feb. 16. He's tallied two assists in 11 games this season.
