  • Kalynuk produced an assist and three hits in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Hurricanes. Kalynuk helped out on Alex DeBrincat's game-winning goal in overtime. The 24-year-old Kalynuk has become a consistent presence in the Blackhawks' lineup, drawing into 18 straight games. He has nine points in that span as a bottom-four defenseman, although he could see more responsibility after Duncan Keith (concussion) left Thursday's game early.

  • Kalynuk recorded an assist and two hits in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Panthers. Kalynuk picked up the secondary assist on Alex DeBrincat's equalizer with 18 seconds left in regulation. The 24-year-old Kalynuk is up to eight points in 15 games this year -- he's earned all but one of those points in his last nine outings. The 24-year-old appears set for a more permanent role on the blue line to close out 2020-21.

  • Kalynuk scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Lightning. Kalynuk has enjoyed a productive April with seven points in 12 contests. That accounts for all of the 24-year-old defenseman's offense in 14 games this year. He's added 20 shots on net, a minus-2 rating and 14 blocked shots.

Kalynuk fired off a shot attempt, and Vinnie Hinostroza was able to eventually poke the puck over the goal line for the Blackhawks' lone tally. The 24-year-old Kalynuk has settled into a regular role lately -- he has six points in the last 12 games. He's played in 13 contests overall, with 18 shots on net, 11 hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating.

  • Kalynuk scored a goal on four shots and added a pair of hits in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime victory over the Predators. Kalynuk helped ignite a third-period rally for Chicago, converting a Patrick Kane backdoor feed to pull the Blackhawks to within 4-2. It was the first of three straight Chicago goals in a span of 2:51 to send the game into overtime. The 24-year-old Kalynuk has hit the scoresheet in four of his last six outings, contributing three goals and one assist.
