  • Rangers' Rick Nash: Breaks 2-2 tie late
    By RotoWire Staff

Nash scored the game-winning goal in Friday's 4-2 triumph over the Kings. Nash made a beautiful play to break a 2-2 tie with 3:27 remaining, forcing a turnover in the neutral zone before scooping up the puck and beating Jonathan Quick to the short side for an unassisted goal. The veteran forward continues to generate quality chances at an immense rate, and he tied for the team lead with five shots on goal in this one. While he's not the stud he once was, Nash remains a serviceable fantasy commodity with nine goals and 17 points in 32 games for the fast-paced Rangers.

  • Rangers' Rick Nash: Snaps out of short slump
    By RotoWire Staff

Nash's pair of assists in Friday's 5-2 home win over the Devils snapped his four-game pointless streak. While he's clearly past his prime, Nash remains a valuable commodity in deep leagues given that he's averaging just over a half-point per game. Rangers coach Alain Vigneault has been running the veteran out on the power play for an average of 2:19, but the bad news is that Nash has only scored two man-advantage goals through 29 contests. His propensity for putting up multi-point outings -- he's up to five of those this year -- prevents Nash from fading into fantasy obscurity.

  • Rangers' Rick Nash: Tallies two points
    By RotoWire Staff

Nash scored a goal and added a helper in a 6-3 loss to the Blackhawks on Wednesday. The veteran wing is often maligned, but he's been playing great hockey recently. He's notched 10 points and 27 shots on net over his last eight games, and he has 68 shots in 19 contests overall.

  • Rangers' Rick Nash: Bags two goals Saturday
    By RotoWire Staff

Nash recorded two goals and five shots in Saturday's 4-2 win against the Oilers. The 33-year-old winger has five goals and eight points in his last 7 games. He may not be able to sustain such a pace given that his performance has dropped in recent seasons, but this hot streak is certainly worth riding.

  • Rangers' Rick Nash: Pots empty-netter
    By RotoWire Staff

Nash scored into an empty net with eight seconds left to secure Wednesday's 4-2 victory over Boston. Nash's goal was well-deserved considering he tied for the team lead with four shots and was instrumental in holding Boston's power play without a goal in four tries with 2:57 of shorthanded ice time. The power forward continues to put rubber on net at a fantastic rate with 60 shots in 17 games, but has still lit the lamp only four times. Considering Nash is a career 12.2 percent shooter, it's safe to expect his career-low 6.7 percent season mark to keep rising.
