  • Senators' Tom Pyatt: Breaks eight-game point drought
    By RotoWire Staff

Pyatt's assist Wednesday marked the first time he'd scored a point since Nov. 24. Pyatt might have left his scoring touch in Sweden, as he's only posted three points since Ottawa returned home from Europe on Nov. 11. He's still on pace for a career high in points, but that's because his career high is a mere 23 points. Pyatt can be useful if he gets a streak going, but at the present time he should only be an option in the deepest of leagues.

  • Senators' Tom Pyatt: Picks up assist in win
    By RotoWire Staff

Pyatt registered an assist on a third-period goal in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over Colorado in Sweden. That's the fourth-straight game and fifth game in six where Pyatt has scored at least one point. Pyatt has never been a big scorer, so don't overreact to his streak, but he's worth a flier if you're in a tight spot.

  • Senators' Tom Pyatt: Clean bill of health for camp
    By RotoWire Staff

Pyatt (ankle) is listed on the Senators' training camp roster in preparation for the 2017-18 season. Pyatt notched a career-high 23 points and played in all 82 games last regular season, though he was said to be limited by an ankle injury during the playoffs. Look for the 30-year-old to reprise his role as a penalty-killing specialist in the bottom six now that he's healthy.

  • Pyatt (ankle) signed a two-year contract extension with the Senators on Monday worth an average of $1.1 million per season, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports. Pyatt is coming off his first campaign with the Senators, where he played a full 82 games, posting 23 points (nine goals), 46 hits and 89 blocked shots. While he did miss a handful of postseason games due to multiple injuries, the Senators clearly don't see them as long-term issues and he should be good to go by the time training camp opens. Pyatt should continue to operate as a depth option, which may limit his overall upside.

  • Senators' Tom Pyatt: Scores second goal of playoffs
    By RotoWire Staff

Pyatt scored a third-period goal and registered two shots on net over 12:58 of ice time during Friday's Game 4 loss to Pittsburgh. With just two goals and an average of 11:54 of ice time through 11 postseason games, Pyatt isn't a reliable offensive contributor. He's playing a depth role and not receiving power-play time, so counting on him in fantasy settings is ill-advised.
