  • Panthers' Keith Yandle: Adds to career high
    By RotoWire Staff

Yandle picked up an assist in Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Islanders. Now with 61 points on the season, Yandle has bested his previous career-high mark set back in 2010-11. He is also holding firm in third place league-wide for power-play points with 39 -- making him the first defenseman to surpass 35 points on the man advantage since Nicklas Lindstrom in 2010-11.

  • Panthers' Keith Yandle: Ugly night in own zone
    By RotoWire Staff

Yandle ended Tuesday's game a minus-3 as the Canadiens won 6-1. Despite a minus-19 season rating, Yandle is not even in the bottom two on the Panthers for plus-minus. Mike Matheson (minus-27) and Mike Hoffman (minus-25) both "lead" in that category. Yandle is having a great season offensively with 58 points in 77 games, but with 38 of those points coming on the power play, he has been hit hard into the negatives.

  • Yandle registered a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Sharks. The helper gives Yandle 55 points (nine goals, 46 assists) in 70 games, just four shy of his career high from 2010-11. He has picked up 35 power-play points this season, tied for second in the league with Steven Stamkos in that category. The blueliner may have an unsightly minus-15 rating, but the hefty point production more than makes up for it.

  • Yandle racked up two power-play assists in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins. The dependable rearguard was instrumental in helping the Cats jump out to an early 2-0 lead, but the B's would answer back by accounting for four of the game's final five tallies. Florida almost assuredly won't be making the playoffs, but Yandle's rigid work ethic is a staple of his game, so expect consistent production from him down the stretch. Yandle needs only six more points in the remaining 15 contests to reach a career-high 60, and he's already accrued a personal-best seven goals and 34 points with the man advantage.
