Sateri was a fourth-round pick by the Sharks in the 2008 NHL Draft and has appeared in nine career NHL games, all coming with the Panthers during the 2017-18 campaign. The 32-year-old is coming off a terrific season with KHL Novosibirsk, posting a .932 save percentage and a 2.02 GAA despite an unsightly 14-16-5 record. Assuming he clears waivers, he could join the Maple Leafs in time for Wednesday's tilt with the Devils.
