Anthony "Rumble" Johnson upset favorite Alexander Gustafsson during UFC Fight Night in Stockholm, Sweden Saturday night via TKO.
In a de facto No. 1 contender's match, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson looked the part Saturday in Sweden. The 30-year-old dominated Alexander Gustafsson Saturday during the light heavyweight main event contest of UFC Stockholm, winning the fight by TKO in the first round.
Johnson landed 38 of 56 strikes in the fight, including two that knocked Gustafsson to the mat, where Johnson hopped on his back and continued to land significant blows to the head.
Johnson will likely next face champion Jon Jones for the light heavyweight championship, who recently defeated Daniel Cormier.
Ryan Bader defeated Phil Davis by judge's decision while Gegard Mousasi defeated Dan Henderson by TKO in the first round.
