How to claim the BetMGM bonus code
BetMGM's "bet $10, get $150 in bonus bets" promo is only available to new users in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Additionally, that first bet of at least $10 must win in order to receive those bonus bets.
If you're in another state where BetMGM operates, the BetMGM bonus code CBSSPORTS gives new users up to $1,500 in bonus bets, which is the most bonus bets you can receive from any of the top betting sites. This promo covers your very first bet with BetMGM, returning you bonus bets if your first bet loses. For example, if you bet $1,500 on the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Indianapolis Colts in preseason action and the Colts won that game instead, you'd get your $1,500 back in the form of bonus bets.
BetMGM bonus code terms and conditions
These offers are only available to new BetMGM users who are 21 or older in a state where the sportsbook operates. You need to deposit $10 or more into your account when signing up. There's no minimum odds requirement for these BetMGM promos, which can be used on NFL, MLB or WNBA games on Thursday.
If you're not in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or West Virginia and sign up with the $1,500 in bonus bets promo, the amount you wager determines how your bonus bets are credited. If you bet under $50 and lose, you get one bonus bet token equal to your stake. If you bet $50 or more and the bet loses, you get five bonus bet tokens each worth 20% of your qualifying wager. For example, if you bet $500 and lose, your account would be credited five $100 bonus bet tokens. Bonus bets hold no cash value and can't be withdrawn, and they expire after seven days. If you win a wager using bonus bets, you receive the winnings but not the stake. Sign up for BetMGM here:
Best NFL bets today
The NFL has three games on the schedule in preseason Week 1 action as the Eagles visit the Bengals, the Ravens host the Colts and the Seattle Seahawks face the Las Vegas Raiders. The Colts and Ravens kick things off at 7 p.m. ET, and Indianapolis will be one of the teams worth keeping an eye on all preseason as the team determines who its next starting quarterback will be. Anthony Richardson, the No. 4 pick in 2023, will start this preseason opener in Baltimore while former New York Giants starter Daniel Jones gets the starting nod next week. The Colts are 6-point favorites over Baltimore at BetMGM.
The Bengals take on the defending champs in Philly at 7:30 p.m. ET, and this game has a decent bit of intrigue as Cincinnati will play top starters for multiple series, including franchise quarterback Joe Burrow. The Eagles are expected to play some of their top starters, too, though just for one series. The Bengals are 6-point favorites at BetMGM.
As for the final game, Pete Carroll returns to his longtime home when he brings his Raiders to Seattle to face the Seahawks. Carroll, who was Seattle's head coach for 14 years, was out of the game last year before getting hired in Vegas this offseason and later trading for former Seahawks starting quarterback Geno Smith. Mike Macdonald's Seahawks aren't expected to play many notable starters outside of rookies, while it's unclear what Carroll will do with the Raiders' top players. Las Vegas is a 4.5-point favorite at BetMGM. Bet on these NFL preseason games at BetMGM here:
Best MLB bets today
Most of MLB is off today, but there are four games and eight teams on the schedule, including the Reds at Pirates in Game 1 of a four-game series in the NL Central. The Reds are 60-55 on the year and are three games back in the NL Wild Card race. This pitching matchup sees the Reds turn to Brady Singer (9-8, 4.36 ERA) against star Pirates ace Paul Skenes (8-8, 2.02 ERA). The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every MLB game 10,000 times likes Cincinnati +1.5, as the Reds cover in 69% of simulations.
Best WNBA bets today
There are three WNBA games on Thursday, including the Fever taking on the Mercury in Arizona. Indiana, who is without Caitlin Clark, just saw its five-game winning streak snapped. Phoenix has the second-best record in the Western Conference and has won two games in a row. WNBA expert Max Meyer has issued his best bets for Thursday's slate, including a Fever vs. Mercury pick.
