United States Women's National Team goalkeeper Hope Solo was arrested late Friday night on charges of domestic violence at her home in Kirkland, Wash.

According to the Seattle Times, police were called to the home because Solo was apparently hitting people and she would not stop. The report states that she struck both her sister and 17-year-old nephew during a family gathering and they both suffered visible injuries.

According to police, Solo -- who shares the home with her husband, former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens -- was intoxicated when they arrived, and she was arrested.

Solo's attorney, Todd Maybrown, told the Associated Press on Saturday that the 32-year-old "is not guilty of any crime."

"In fact, our investigation reveals that Hope was assaulted and injured during this unfortunate incident," Maybrown wrote in an email to the AP. "We look forward to the opportunity to present the true facts in court and to having this matter behind Hope very soon."

Solo is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
