Military man disguises his return, stuns son at football game
Master Sergeant Joseph Martel dressed up as a member of the opposing team and surprised his son with an early return from Afghanistan.
Master Sergeant Joseph Martel returned home from Afghanistan a month early and then pulled off an incredibly heartwarming surprise to greet his son.
After Martel landed at an air force base in Germany this past September, he and his wife Julia road tripped to Belgium, where their son Justin, a member of the Bitburg Barons team, was playing a football game. Martel disguised himself as a member of the Brussels football team and trotted out onto the field where the refs had called for a meeting on sportsmanship.
Then comes what will go down as the greatest bear-hug of all-time.
