Suspicious bags found near Boston Marathon finish line; area evacuated
Two suspicious backpacks were found near the Boston Marathon finish line, and the area has been evacuated.
The area near the finish line for next Monday's Boston Marathon has been cleared by police after two suspicious backpacks were discovered.

The Boston Police Department confirmed Tuesday evening that they did have a suspect in custody, but there was no definitive statement as to the contents of the backpacks. Members of the bomb squad have been sent to investigate, and they have since performed a controlled detonation.
Police have asked that media not publish photos or videos of the area.
Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary of the Boston bombing at last year's marathon.
