VIDEO: Dantonio, Spartans celebrate Rose Bowl with classic dance party
Mark Dantonio, as he's been known to do, danced with rapper Rich Homie Quan and various other Spartans players following yesterday's Rose Bowl win.
Apologies if you’ve had your fill of Michigan State dancing videos, but this one was just too good to pass up.
Earlier this year we showed you Mark Dantonio (a usually stoic, emotion-less coach), jumping up and down to the smooth sounds of rapper Rich Homie Quan. Since then, his song “Type of Way” has become Sparty’s de-facto anthem.
Well, Mr. Homie Quan was on hand in Pasadena to celebrate with Dantonio and the Spartans as soon as Michigan State stuffed Stanford on that crucial fourth-and-one late in the fourth quarter.
He was also there to take in the locker room dance party, which we’ll describe as must-see TV. Aside from Dantonio and various Spartans players breaking it down, we also get a young kid (at the 3:30 mark) along with MSU AD Mark Hollis and President Lou Anna K. Simon, who try their damnedest to keep up.
Moral of the story: Win the Rose Bowl and earn some respectability for the Big Ten, and you get to dance however you damn well please.
