WATCH: Tour de France cyclist Thomas Voeckler heckles hecklers
Thomas Voeckler was having none of a roadside fans' boos during a difficult climb earlier this week and stopped to let him have it.
Let it be known that French cyclist Thomas Voeckler won't stand for any Tour de France heckling from roadside fans. Voeckler was near the end of stage 13 last Friday when he came to a complete halt and chided his verbal abuser.
His abrupt halt and subsequent dressing down earned an effusive apology (I heard "Sorry!" six times) from the fan. It must be said, though, that Voeckler is more than an hour and a half behind the leader, Vincenzo Nibali. Still, that was awesome.
