Si Woo Kim is on the cusp of his third PGA Tour win -- and second at the Wyndham Championship -- after carding an 8-under par 62 on Saturday that thrust him into position as the event's solo leader through 54 holes. His performance in Round 3 separated him from a four-way tie atop the leaderboard he shared entering the day with Talor Gooch, Billy Horschel and Tom Hoge. It's his best round of the week and one stroke off the field-best round of 61, which Zach Johnson and Jim Herman both recorded Saturday.

Despite a bogey on No. 7, Kim's round was nearly perfect from start to finish. He aced the par 3 third hole to jump start his day, then nearly did the unthinkable with a hole-in-one bid on No. 12 that found everything but the bottom of the cup. He played the back nine bogey-free with four birdies, which set him up with a two-stroke lead heading into Sunday.

On his tail are Rob Oppenheim and Doc Redman, who shot 62 and 63 respectively in Round 3, both of whom sit T2 at 16 under. Billy Horschel is 15 under while Jim Herman and Mark Hubbard are 14 under. Twelve golfers in total are within six strokes of the lead.

The winner at the Wyndham Championship in each of the last four years has reached at least 21 under, including Kim's 21 under through four rounds that won him the event in 2016. A win on Sunday would be Kim's first since winning the Players Championship three years ago. He finished T13 last week at the PGA Championship.

Si Woo Kim is the low man on the leaderboard. He's in through 54 holes at 18 under, after carding an 8-under 62 on the day in a round that included one hole-in-one and a near-hole-in-one.

Rob Oppenheim is the new leader. He's 9 under on the round matching Jim Herman's stellar day and at 17 under on the tournament. Some crazy low scores out there today.
