A slew of golf's biggest stars will be in attendance for what should feel like a big-time PGA Tour event with the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course. After the North Course got some shine in the split on Thursday and Friday, the much more difficult South Course takes center stage over the weekend.

This week also marks the return of golf to CBS, which will feature a handful of new goodies on its broadcast on Saturday and Sunday. Torrey Pines serves as a bit of a preview for this June's U.S. Open. While the USGA will certainly set up the golf course differently this summer than the PGA Tour does this week, it's still a fun sidebar to the main event this week in La Jolla, California.

Add it all up, and the Farmers Insurance Open should again be great as the best players on the planet take on a major championship-level golf course on a weekend that feels tantamount to opening day for Major League Baseball or the NBA

Through three rounds (and a bit of controversy), Patrick Reed and Carlos Ortiz share the lead at 10 under. Reed had an issue with a ball placement with a rules official on Saturday that may have led to him saving a stroke on the day. Reed and Ortiz will have plenty of chasers on Sunday, though, as John Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Adam Scott and Rory McIlroy are all within four shots of the lead. Here's how you can follow the action on Sunday afternoon from San Diego.
