The 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions will provide golf fans with some star-studded pairings for Thursday's opening round, which gets underway at 2:10 p.m. ET. Dustin Johnson, fresh off his victory at the Masters, will play alongside defending champion Justin Thomas when play gets underway from the Plantation Course at Kapalua. Johnson and Thomas have both won this event twice, and both had three victories during the 2020 season. Johnson enters this week's event as the 6-1 favorite, according to the latest 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions odds from William Hill Sportsbook.

Meanwhile, Jon Rahm, the No. 2 ranked player in the world, will be paired with Xander Schauffele, who won this event in 2019. Rahm has finished inside the top-10 in each of his last two starts on the PGA Tour and he's being listed at 15-2 on the PGA odds board this week. Before locking in your 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions picks or entering any PGA DFS tournaments on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to see the latest golf predictions and projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

SportsLine's prediction model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been on fire since the return of the PGA Tour in June. In fact, it's up over $13,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

In the final standard PGA event of 2020, McClure nailed Viktor Hovland's win at +2500 in his best bets. That was one of many huge calls he made last year. After nailing Sergio Garcia (+5500) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the Sanderson Farms Championship, McClure finished up over $6,200 yet again on his best bets. The model had him in the top five from the start and McClure's best bets included Garcia winning outright. Those who followed that advice saw a massive +5500 return.

He also finished profitable at the U.S. Open, nailing two of his best bets, including a +1100 top-five bet on Matthew Wolff. McClure hit a top-five bet (+1200) on Doc Redman at the Wyndham Championship, finishing up over $700 on his best bets. Those are just some of his recent big returns.

In all, the advanced computer model has also nailed a whopping six majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed its golf picks has seen massive returns.

Now that the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions field is locked, SportsLine simulated the event 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected leaderboard.

The model's top 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions predictions

One huge shocker the model is calling for at the Sentry Tournament of Champions 2021: Bryson DeChambeau, one of the favorites at 10-1, barely cracks the top five. DeChambeau was one of the hottest players on tour late in the summer and early this season, capping that run by winning the 2020 U.S. Open in September. He finished a respectable T-8 at the Shriners Hospital for Children Open, but struggled at the 2020 Masters in November.

He finished T-34 at Augusta and fired two rounds of 73 or higher that took him out of contention. He's continued to crush the ball off the tee this season, but he ranks 60th in strokes gained: putting, which could cost him in this event. He's not a strong pick to win it all and there are far better values in the Sentry Tournament of Champions 2021 field.

Another surprise: Collin Morikawa, a massive 25-1 long shot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.

Morikawa has proven he has what it takes to compete with the best players on the PGA Tour. In fact, the 23-year-old has recorded three victories on the PGA Tour, which includes his first major title at the PGA Championship last August. He recorded seven top-10 finishes last season and he's expected to be in the mix again this week in Hawaii.

Morikawa is a prolific ball striker who has the ability to shape his iron shots, which will go a long way this week at the Plantation Course at Kapula. In fact, Morikawa enters this week's event ranked inside the top 35 in strokes gained: approach the green (.692), strokes gained: tee-to-green (1.331) and strokes gained: around-the-green (.604). Those impressive stats, plus his long odds, make him a strong value pick for your 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions bets.
