A former Miss Norway winner is now caddying on the European Tour
Ingrid and Caroline Martens have teamed up to take on the Ladies European Tour.

The Venn diagram of Ladies European Tour caddies and Miss World contestants cannot be a large one. In fact, it might only include one person.
Ingrid Martens loops for her daughter Caroline on the tour. Ingrid was Miss Norway in 1984 and contended for Miss World one time. She eventually gave up modeling because she was tired of being famous.
"I decided after five years I didn't want to have my face on screen any more," she told Reuters recently. "I wanted to be anonymous after being high profile in Norway for so long."
So ... mom and daughter competing on the tour. How does that work out?
"There's no mother-daughter relationship when we are out on the course," said Ingrid "When I am caddying she is the boss. It works very well, we never fight and she always takes the final decision on picking the right club to use."
It's not something Ingrid wants to do forever, though.
"If she gets on the LPGA Tour, for example, she will have to get a professional. I'm not going to move to the U.S. unless she pays me very, very well."
