The PGA Championship is a two horse race according to the folks in Vegas. Jason Dufner is and Adam Scott are neck-and-neck as the two favorites heading to the third round. Dufner leads at 9 under and Scott is tied for second with Matt Kuchar at 7 under.

Here's a look at all the odds (thanks to Bovada as always):

Jason Dufner: 4-1
Adam Scott: 9-2

Other favorites

Matt Kuchar: 13-2
Henrik Stenson: 7-1
Justin Rose: 7-1
Jim Furyk: 10-1

Fringe favorites

Steve Stricker: 25-1
Webb Simpson: 33-1
Sergio Garcia: 40-1

Probably out of it

Hunter Mahan: 50-1
Tiger Woods: 50-1
Bill Haas: 66-1
Jason Day: 66-1

I still love my pre-tournament pick of Henrik Stenson at 7-1 (you could have had him at 25-1 at the beginning of the week!)

I also wonder how much action Woods will get over the weekend. To me there's pretty much a zero percent chance he has of making any kind of noise but Tiger is Tiger and people love to root for (and bet) the guy.

A smart play might also be to throw some money at Webb Simpson. He's capable of shooting a 64 every time out. Two of them over the weekend and he'll run away and hide with the Wanamaker.
