John Daly goes all pink at Greenbrier Classic
Long John is actually playing pretty well these days.
Okay, I'm convinced that John Daly's outfits and his game are somehow inversely related.
Daly wore one of his worst combos ever (and that's saying something) at the Greenbrier Classic on Thursday to the tune of a 2-under 68 to put him T32 after the first round.
Looking like the biggest azalea in history in all pink with a touch of white on his shoes, Daly fired five birdies to just to three bogeys to get to that 2 under mark.
If you haven't been paying attention Daly has been playing at least somewhat decent of late. He's made the cut at two straight PGA Tour events and this would make it three. Plus he recently made the cut at the BMW International Open (and took the greatest photo of all time).
All in all, a good stretch for Daly -- and for all of us, really, considering how much more fun golf is when Daly is cranking it.
I'm also pretty stoked to see what he's going to do for an encore with his outfit on July 4th.
